This is a very good Australian novel. I love that you are given two perspectives to the story and go through the emotions that the characters do. It is written the way teenagers speak and act and bought back a lot of memories of my own time doing the HSC. There is no happily ever after and you WILL cry reading this book (I had lumps in my throat when the characters did and I sobbed and sobbed at the end). Even now, hours after finishing it I am tearing up thinking about it.

This book was horribly sad. Yes, I enjoy a good tragic read...but this was pretty sad. It made me think that if I was terminal and knew that treatments would only prolong my life by a little bit but wouldn't change the outcome, I'm not sure that it's worth it. To love someone and watch them die just a bit slower seems almost torturous. It seems greedy on the survivors part. Anyway...it was a good book, I liked it, but didn't love it.
Loved it! Really enjoyed the perspectives of both Tai and Juliet, both felt natural and honest. I could not put the book down even though the outcome is foreshadowed early in the tale.
