This book has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. Neither overwhelms the book, but if you find either of them off putting use your own judgment before reading. This is book four of the Wildes of Birch Bay series, and although reading at least Montana Cherries will give you a lot of meaningful background, this book can stand completely alone.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was not a fan of Arsula from the previous book. Actually, to be totally honest, I was hoping that she wouldn't wind up with any of the Wilde siblings and mentioned it in my review because I just don't care for woo woo stuff in my contemporary romance, so I found her “mystical powers” annoying rather than charming. (That's just my opinion, please don't bash me for my personal taste.) That said, I really, REALLY liked her in this book. Yeah, she still is into the woo woo and I still rolled my eyes at the cheese factor of it all, but I very much liked Arsula as a person and the way that she handled herself. I also liked how she told Jaden off every time he insulted her abilities. It's quite a statement to Ms. Law's writing skills that she could make me side with Arsula over Jaden, even when I kind of agreed with the thought behind what he was saying a lot of the times. I found myself rooting for her hardcore because Arsula was funny, likable, a little hot tempered, but also really sweet and kind. And then there was Jaden. Ah Jaden. He was prickly and a little childish at times – something that he readily admits in his own mind so this isn't me insulting him – but he was also so fragile and so incredibly good that I spent most of the book wanting to hug him because “sometimes even morons need hugs”. Knowing his background and having read the previous books, I absolutely adored Jaden and his grumpiness.

Of course, because this is a Wildes of Montana book, the Wilde family plays a huge part in this story, adding so much awesome to this already great love story. I seriously adore this family, and every scene that happened between the siblings or any scene that had Jenna and Haley in it, made me just crave more of all of them. (The stuff happening with Mr. Wilde however, was beyond heartbreaking and I am dreading that part of the future books.)

I cannot wait for Cord and Nate's books, even though it will mean an end to this series and these siblings that I love so much.

I would highly recommend this story to anyone who has read the previous books – you're going to love Jaden & Arsula – or to anyone who likes a fun opposites attract story. You cannot go wrong with a Kim Law story.

Montana Dreams The Wildes of Birch Bay Book 4 edition by Kim Law Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews

What a great series. I can't get enough of of them. They all have issues that they have to work out. They are all amazing. Great book's
I enjoyed it all the way to the end. I literally could see the characters in my head. Sometimes I skip ahead while reading books, Howe with this one I read every word
5 WILDE MONTANA STARS!! Love the Wildes and Montana. It is always fun going back there, it does help because I live in Montana. Jaden and Arsula story has all the feels and beautifully told. Kim Law does an amazing job with her storytelling and she did not disappoint with this book.
No Spoilers ....Montana Dreams shows us that the life path that we believe we will go down are not always the ones we should or will go down. This is a fun sexy heartwarming book about starting over and finding ourselves and the paths that we are to lead in life
She did it again. She wrote a story with characters and circumstances that touch your heart ❤. As you immerse yourself in this read, you feel each emotion and understand each reaction, all as you want to reach in to make sure that happy ending is there. I wish she had delved into Jaden's psyche more but loved the story nonetheless. Read as a stand alone or better yet start from the beginning of the Birch Bay saga. You won't be dissapointed.
Jaden and Arsula are two people who are perfect in their imperfections. Arula has a gift, and she isn't afraid to use that gift, or to be honest with you. Jaden, in his own words, is "selfish. I always have been", and he's skeptical of Arsula's gift . How do two people like that fall in love? In a heartwarming, sometimes frustrating, and near the end, heartbreaking, way. They learn to respect their differences. And Arsula learns that Jaden has "a good dose of squishy on the inside". This book is well worth the read.
Thought her first book in this series was very very good and clever. This is the 4th in the series and I was hoping for better. When you know the authors story you realise this series is more than likely largely autobiographical - hence the realism she brings to the conflicts and pressures in the characters lives, along with the outright terror of exposing one's innermost thoughts, feelings & needs to the general public and risking rejection. I loved her hiding from the website. She is writing about what she knows. There are times though when the writing descended into corny and cliched, which even though I am sure is easy to slip into the writer should have recognised that when it happened and fixed it. If she can do so well in the first book she can do it in this one. And... our female lead is no role model. She seems to have little control over her temper given her age, and throws furniture accessories at men who earn her displeasure, with abandon (i.e. lamps) and with no regard for any injury she may cause. She is willing to risk hurting someone in order to vent. Not exactly admirable. When said lead female confesses the lamp throwing to her friends not one of them expressed any disapproval. Hmmmm - throwing things at men is not okay. Shame he didn't pick it up and throw it back. The end was corny and rushed. The finding of the ring could have been a more dramatic event and should have had a chapter all of its own, and should have been what brought them back together. I also found our female lead somewhat... brazen I think is the word. I don't know any females who will happily run around re-arranging furniture and propping up her lover to be's foot on a chair - whilst naked, and they haven't even slept together yet! That's either extra-ordinary confidence or - she's pretty brazen. If that was supposed to be sexy - it didn't work. It just came across as somewhat awkward - hardly romantic. And again - at the flea market our fem. lead finds a nurse uniform and her first response was to use it for a sex prop .......... ahem, these women care for the sick & injured and save lives! Their profession is one of the most important but under-rated - any hospital stay is made or broken by the nursing care. Any patient sees more of them than doctors etc. And..... our author seems to promote disrespecting these women by portraying them as sex objects. As a woman I was actually taken aback. I note she didn't find a male nurses uniform and plan to use that for a sex prop. Cliched, corny and a little tacky. I actually expect more from Kim Law. All in all - okay but not her best. And it should have been given the battle scars I am fairly sure the author has from an exact same career choice conflict of her own.
